I can only imagine how incredible it would be to stand somewhere and see The Milky Way like this, but like most of us, that view isn’t accessible to me. So, I took a photo of Lining Crag that my friend sent me, and turned it into a nightscape. I knew I wanted to paint our own galaxy shining down on this beautiful landscape.

This painting was a labour of love and really challenged me, but I eventually persevered with it and then spent many, MANY hours of editing and work to bring you these gorgeous prints. I’ve then hand embellished them with glow paint, so the stars are always with you.

Light pollution is a huge issue and it is destroying our connection to the universe, if my work can help connect even one person back to the cosmos then I’ll consider that my job done.
